Winter Indoor Fitness Sessions

Every Thursday, 6:30 – 8:30pm

Pretty much the same as last year; each week we’ll get together on a Thursday evening, to ride our bikes on our stationary turbos, and you’d be most welcome to join us.
We’ll once again be using the tower 2 fitness room, with doors opening at 6:30pm.
The session will start at 7pm, last for roughly an hour (included my patented* 20min World Class Warmup routine), which means we’ll be done by 8pm and most of the way home by half past.
Best of all, it’s free for club members :-)

These sessions are designed to not only keep you active and moving during the cold dark winter months,
but to teach you routines to do on the turbo trainers to make efficient use of your time.
They’ve been devised by fully qualified British Cycling experts to help rider not only maintain their fitness over the winter, but improve their riding ability technique and performance.
I have a barebones schedule worked out right now that’ll cover the four basic metrics of cycling performance (strength, endurance, sprint & recovery),
but if there’s anything in particular you want to improve in for next season, just drop me a line and we can sort something out.

No matter what your riding level is (racing snake or country lane tourer), or you current level of fitness (finely tuned athlete or a bike lacking in miles this summer), you’re most welcome to join us.
If you have a bike and a turbo machine, you should definitely bring them along.
We also have a couple of turbo machines available to borrow if you don’t have one of your own.

So if you’ve never used a turbo before but want to give it a try, or you want to keep riding over the winter but don’t like the rain, these are the perfect opportunity to give it a try.
